This multi-purpose collaborative environment is designed to encourage design thinking.  It provides nearly everything students need to create projects, including:

• A whiteboard
• Modular tables
• Three desktop computers with:
  • Open-source creativity software (Gimp for photo editing), digital mind-mapping / graphic organizers (eg. bubbl.us), Voicethread, Toondoo (comic strip creator), Manga creator, Google Earth
  • Adobe Creativity Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver)
  • Video and sound editing software (iMovie, Garageband and more)
• Digital scanning station / document camera

Students are encouraged to borrow mobile devices such as iPods, iPads, Flip Cameras, and the Magic Wand scanner, as well as office supplies, at the Circulation Desk.
