The purpose of the Guild is to have a place where aspiring programmers can meet to collaborate on projects and improve their collective skill. No programming skill is required to join, as there will be introductory material to the subject using the Java programming language. There is a very laid back attitude in the Guild, and not a single meeting is mandatory, making this a good chance for any person interested in programming to get a start.

Currently, the Guild meets during Thursday X-blocks in the computer lab within the Library Learning Commons. New members are always welcome, and a good time can be had by all.
