The LLC's collection of practical art books is growing. One of the most interesting is ONE DRAWING A DAY by Veronica Lawlor. (741.2) Between its two covers is a 6 week course to explore creativity with illustration and mixed media. Here's exercise 1 to play with. "Select a few items in your home and create a still life with them....Draw continuously, picking the pen up from the page only occasionally." Share your work with us...we will hang work or scan it for electronic sharing.
